Integrating Economics, Energy and the Environment

King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center

The vision for the King Abdullah Petroleum Science and Research Center is to become a world centre for excellence in energy and environmental research and policy.

The role of the Event designed exhibition and Media Walls is to introduce visitors to KAPSARC’s mandate and areas of work, and to keep its faculty abreast of current news from within the centre and from around the world. External audiences include VIP’s, visiting energy experts and local students at second and third level, as well as national and international media.

The main Media Wall represents KAPSARC’s values through a series of inspiring generative artworks.

A second presentation conveys KAPSARC’s vision, positioning and areas of research and links directly to the Program Hall exhibits. It also provides curated news and announcements, live video feed, Twitter and building data.

Event’s interpretative approach for the Program Hall exhibits is based on concepts of exploration and collaboration. Visual language is inspired by the organic forms of Zaha Hadid’s cellular structure and expressed through a dynamic engaging vocabulary across media, setworks and graphics.
