Astounding Achievements of Russian Science

Polytechnic Museum

The Polytechnic Museum – Russia’s national museum of science and technology – aims to take its rightful place as one of the world’s top ten science and technology museums.

Having delivered a Masterplan for the totalrefurbishment of its flagship buildings in the heart of Moscow, Event is helping the Museum develop nearly 8,000m2 of permanent exhibitions.

Displays will explore science and technology through the lens of the scientist role models who invented and developed the objects in the Museum’s extraordinary collections. They centre on the human drive to understand and explain the fundamentals of the universe– matter, energy and information – and how human ingenuity pursues this knowledge.

They examine the availability and impact of information technologies on Russian culture and the migration of that culture into the digital world.

Visitors are invited to consider these achievements and their consequences, whether for the individual, for society or for the future well-being of the planet.
