Extraordinary Science

The Royal Institution of Great Britain

The Royal Institution is dedicated to connecting people with the world of science.

Founded in 1799, the Royal Institution has provided research facilities for fourteen Nobel Prize winners from its home in Albermarle Street and borne witness to the discovery of ten chemical elements.

Event’s design brief at the Royal Institution was to create a Salon for Science where people from every walk of life meet, engage in debate and discover science history.

Interpretive media reflects the cutting edge scientific research carried out at the Royal Institution. The historic building structure is interpreted to support thematic areas of discovery or moments of investigation. Powerful installation pieces punctuate the spaces and connect visitors to the drama, politics and fun of science in the making.
